Who?
Harvey: A SAHM and professional piddler knocking on 40. She says ‘No’ way too much, and is determined to change that. When she’s not driving, she enjoys sleeping, writing, chocolate, and questioning motives.
Earl: A tween on the cusp of middle school and hormones. She’s sick of hearing no. When she’s not asking “Are we there yet?” she enjoys playing Minecraft, taking selfies, and plotting to become Queen of the World.
What?
A mother/daughter roadtrip of massive proportion. You think Homer was epic? Homer wasn’t trapped in the car with his kid for a month-long 7,500 mile adventure around America. But then, he also didn’t have GPS—I guess I have to give him some credit.
For the love of pete, WHY?
Because in this digital age, we have forgotten how to be together, how to get to know each other, and in a really sad sense, how to know our true selves. So we’re hitting the road in search of adventure and each other. Hopefully, it will bring us as close and mother and daughter can be. There is, however, always the chance that there will be blood, but that’s what first aid kits are for.
